Par la route
At Saint-Dalmas le Selvage, continue straight in the direction of Barcelonnette/Jausiers. Then, at the level of the wooden shelters, turn left and cross the bridge. At the hairpin, left the road and borrow everything right the track that is sinking into the Valley of Gialorgues and enters the National Park of Mercantour.
Follow the orographic track on the left bank of the torrent, summer until the tag 73 left at the end of the track, the winter until organisors limitations.
Transports en commun
Access by public transport: train station SNCF of Nice, join the corridor bus avenue Thiers, take line 740 direction St-Etienne de Tinée-Auron, get off at St-Etienne de Tinée, see also hiking-Bus Express www.cg06.fr tel.0 800 06 01 06.

From the car park (b.73), the path which rises a few winding among the larches to lead in a vast prairie.
Follow the path to reach the refuge of Gialorgues, located in the center of a broad ledge, and not to be confused with the pastoral wooden hut located slightly upstream and reserved for the Shepherd.
Gialorgues hut, the path to the right, beyond the fold and continue in the same direction to the forest.
Follow the path that drops right into laces until you come to the track (b.73) here.

Description: Sinking into the Valley of Gialorgues in remaining left bank orographic.
Managed to close down, cross the Valloar torrent and rise South West forest.
Turn South and follow the Valley in longeant.le slope is ridges of Fort square.
Exceed the sheepfold and quickly win the refuge of Gialorgues.

Take the road that runs behind the restaurant. The bridle, turn right to continue along the River upstream.
Reached a hairpin turn, the road that goes down to the farm of the Louiqs and turn left onto the path.
After a short time in the forest, the trail rises in boulders to reach the recognizable not L'estrop.
Continue in the Valley in the middle of pleasant Prairie, and then spend a first small slope which leads onto a platter.
At the end of the plateau, follow the path that forks left to climb switchbacks then continues in a gentle slope to the col de Gialorgues.
Lower left on the other side and continue in the Valley to the Gialorgues refuge (b.73a).
Gialorgues hut (b.73a), take the path left to climb to the col de Gialorgues.
Lower right on the other side and continue sloping shower on the prairie. The path forks left down switchbacks.
Right across the top of the funnel, down a small slope, then continue in the valley until the L'estrop No.
Start a steep descent in boulders up to the forest then the road.
Borrow it right and lower in the direction of Estenc, that we reached after crossing the river and made a short comeback.

Turn East at the top of the bar and continue gently sloping to the col de Gialorgues.
From there, lower Northeast in the Valley to the refuge of Gialorgues.
